process

1st
WEEK

Tillage

The production process lasts about 18 weeks. It begins with the tillage of the fields.

2nd - 10th
WEEK

Disinfection

Then follows disinfection. Disinfection is done exclusively by the process of solarization where the soil is covered with plastic film, the heat is trapped and the temperature increases wherein reaches and 65-70 degrees Celsius. With this method and never having used chemical disinfectants by producers, control of various diseases is achieved and simultaneously combating various weeds.

10th
WEEK

Planting

We then proceed to planting which is done directly on the ground and not in substrates and fertilization of flowers in which are used exclusively used bumblebees - bees (bombus terrestis). This is the natural way of fertilizing the flowers of the tomato and not using hormone fructification.

10th - 18th
WEEK

Maturation

The process of development and production of fruit takes about 10 weeks. After the first 18 weeks tomatoes ripen longer per week.

The producers of the cooperative proceed to harvest the precious fruit of the earth. Then driven in cooperative facilities where the electronic calibrator helps establish the final separation according to size, color and weight. The packaging process is followed by the introduction of the product in a controlled stable temperature chamber which is still maintained and during transport by refrigerated trucks to delivery.
